I actually bit the bullet and downloaded Mitt’s app just to check whether they really spelled “America” wrong.
This is a photo of my reaction when I saw that yes, not only did they misspell “America,” but that it’s the very first template (note the “1 of 14” in the bottom right hand side.)
Mitt, I would avoid using the word “details” or bragging about your management skills for the next couple months.

OMFG LMAO HAHAHAHAHA

Hold your LOLs people, I think Mitt is being truthful here. Not a Better America, a Better AmerCIA. More drones, more internal surveillance, more taking out the terrorists and everyone else in a 50m radius of the terrorist, only here instead of some country 60% of Americans can’t find on a map. But then, I think Obama’s headed in the direction too. Can I write in Colbert this year?

Well, there you have it. From Gallup:
“Eighty-two percent of U.S. Catholics say birth control is morally acceptable, nearing the 89% of all Americans and 90% of non-Catholics who agree. The level of acceptability on this issue is far greater than that of the other 17 issues Gallup asked about this year.”
On moral issues surveyed by Gallup, it’s the most acceptable. Of Republicans, 87% give birth control the a-OK, along with 89% of Independents, 90% of Democrats, and even 82% of Catholics. Basically, this is an issue 82%-90% of Americans agree on, yet the Catholic bishops, with their GOP backup dancers, are trying to convince us 100% of Americans are JUST OUTRAGED.
On a side note, taxpayers DID pay for my birth control once upon a time. It was when I was in the U.S. military on active duty. So thanks for the birth control, folks. I’m stoked to still be childless.

With the exception of the assertion that “Puppies and/or kittens are cute”, I think that this is as close to a unanimous opinion as you are going to get from the American public.

please everyone watch this it’s kind of beautiful

POLITICS IS WYRD… AND CREEPY.

If this isn’t sampled and playing somewhere in someone’s set at the high-end clubs of this planet by Friday night, I’m going to surrender any hope of understanding pop culture.

In this video at 34:25 , Rick Santorum called Barack Obama the N word.
If you still support his ass, I’m going to pray for you or something.

And boom goes the dynamite.
Bye Frothy, you’re xenophobic, racist, homophobic, imperialist ass will not be missed.

He was just about to sneeze, that’s all. Allergies and such. I’m sure his handlers will claim that or something similar.
You forgot “sexist”. That’s a big one, at least in my opinion.

First class boarding

WHAT YOU THINK YOU’RE BETTER THAN ME?!

First Class Water Boarding?

Even more than the First Class Boarding line at the gate, I think the First Class Security Screening line is a metaphor for the current state of USA politics. Pay more, and you get better treatment from your government than those who don’t, or can’t pay more.

Open Letter to Republican Women Followers

In the event that any of you fine discerning individuals fall into the above category, all I ask of you is that you understand that American presidential candidate Rick Santorum, by all indications, believes all of the shit he says.

Thank you.

Oh dear me. I’ve gotten upset. Sorry.

Contraception

I tend not to discuss political topics on my Tumblr, but have to note that part of my problem with Rick Santorum’s uphill fight against contraception is that his very existence is an argument for it’s potential benefits.

Turnabout is…

newsweek:

apsies:

“To protest a bill that would require women to undergo an ultrasound before having an abortion, Virginia State Sen. Janet Howell (D-Fairfax) on Monday attached an amendment that would require men to have a rectal exam and a cardiac stress test before obtaining a prescription for erectile dysfunction medication.”

Huff Po (via rachelfershleiser)

This is the most beautiful thing. Can we send her flowers?

(via jaimealyse)

Ha - wow. Congressional warfare.

The rectal exam seems a bit much. But the cardiac stress test? That could save hundreds of lives, given that those who ask for such prescriptions are not likely to be young men.

Governor Perry should know - He uses them to make his “X” on the bills that come out of the Texas Legislature. Sources say he prefers “Burnt Sienna”. That’s a manly color.
